The working principle of a filter press

The hydraulic clamping mechanism of the filter press consists of a hydraulic station, oil cylinder, piston, piston rod, and a Haflan card connecting the piston rod and the pressure plate. The hydraulic station structure consists of a motor, oil pump, overflow valve (pressure regulating), reversing valve, pressure gauge, oil circuit, and oil tank.
Filtration methods: The methods for filter liquid outflow are bright flow filtration and dark flow filtration. In bright flow filtration, a water nozzle is installed on the liquid outlet hole below each filter plate, and the filtrate flows out directly from the water nozzle. In dark flow filtration, each filter plate has a liquid outlet channel hole, and the liquid outlet holes of several filter plates are connected to form a liquid outlet channel, which is discharged from the pipeline connected to the liquid outlet hole below the thrust plate.
Washing methods: When the filter cake needs to be washed, sometimes unidirectional washing and bidirectional washing are used, including dark flow unidirectional washing and bidirectional washing.
